About Gullion Family Wines Winery
Our Story
We are Steve and Melissa and we were inspired to start Gullion Family Wines one evening when we were doing two things we love (drinking wine and listening to music.)
Celebrating our Roots
We are deeply patriotic and we love our country. We wanted to find a way to celebrate our roots so Gullion Family Wines was born.
The Name
Robert Gullion is Steve's 5th great grandfather, and he joined the Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania Militia at the age of 16 serving in the American Revolution. He ultimately settled in what would become Indiana in 1799 near what is now Vevay, Switzerland County, IN. He is buried in Indiana near the Markland Dam in a cemetery that bears the Gullion Family Name.
